Prof. Dr. Atif Ahmad

Prof. Dr. Atif Ahmad is an Professor at the University of Melbourne where he serves as Deputy Director for the
Academic Centre of Cyber Security Excellence. Atif leads a unique team of Cybersecurity Management researchers drawn from
information systems, business administration, security intelligence, and information warfare. He has previously served
as a cybersecurity consultant for WorleyParsons, Pinkerton and SinclairKnightMerz. He is a Certified Protection Professional
with the American Society for Industrial Security.

He has authored over 90 scholarly articles in cybersecurity management and received over AUD$3.9M in grant funding. Atif is an
Associate Editor for the leading IT security journal, Computers & Security. Atif has previously served as a cybersecurity consultant for

Assoc. Prof. Dr Sean Maynard

Dr Sean Maynard is an Associate Professor in the School of Computing and Information Systems, and Associate Dean (Academic) in the
Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology at the University of Melbourne. His primary area of research is in cybersecurity.

Cybersecurity management is an emerging area of interdisciplinary research integrating perspectives from information systems,
psychology, computer science, economics, warfare, education, and communication studies. His research is focused on the overarching
question: “How can organisations adapt to the increasingly complex and evolving security threat landscape?” and concentrates wholly
on the management aspects of cybersecurity and how cybersecurity management is practiced in organisations. Additionally, he
researches Analytics in Organisations, where he is interested in understanding what the motivators, enablers and inhibitors are for
organisations to utilize analytics. Whilst his research studies these areas separately, he has deliberately investigated the use of analytics
within the cybersecurity domain which is a niche area in cybersecurity management where he is leading our cybersecurity research.

Dr. Jongkil Jay Jeong is a Senior Research Fellow in the School of Computing and Information System, University of Melbourne.

In addition, he is a Senior Research Fellow for the Cyber Security Cooperative Centre (Australia) developing next generation authentication technologies for critical infrastructure.

Prior to his current role, he was a Research Fellow at Monash University, investigating how a nations cybersecurity capability is influenced by socio-cultural factors. This research was undertaken in conjunction with the Oceania Cyber Security Centre (OCSC) and Oxford University.

On top of his academic positions, Jay also has extensive industry experience serving as the Managing Director of Elegant Minds - a digital advisory company, and as the head of the Webasia Initiative at Melbourne IT where he was responsible for orchestrating a strategic partnership agreement with Alibaba.

Dr. Lim Joo Soon

Dr. Lim Joo Soon is an Dr. at the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia

Dr Michael Lim is a visiting lecturer at International Islamic University of Malaysia (IIUM)
and Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM).
He completed his Ph.D.in Information Security at University of Melbourne, Australia.
He has a M.Sc. degree in Computer Science from University of Putra, Malaysia and Master
of Business Administration (E-Commerce) from Charles Sturt University, Australia.
He teaches Personnel Security Management and Protective Physical Security in Master of Protective Security Management (MIPM).
Besides, he also teaches Cybercrime in Master of Law Enforcement at Saito University College.

He is a Certified Security Culture Practitioner (CSCP) and a Certified Identity Access Manager (CIAM).
He is an Associate Editor for Journal of Public Security and Safety, Institute of Public Security of Malaysia (IPSOM),
Ministry of Home Affair. He also sits on the Editorial Review Board of International Journal of Information Security and Privacy (IJISP).
His current research focuses on data analytics, security intelligence, security incidents response,
behavioral and organizational aspects of information privacy and security.

Prof Dr Zarina Shukur

Prof. Dr. Zarina Shukur is an Professor at the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia

Zarina Shukur is a Professor at the Center of Cyber Security, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.
She received a B.Sc degree in Computer from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 1995.
She obtained Ph.D. from the University of Nottingham in 1999.
Her current research interests include Blockchain technology, Cyber Security, Formal Method, and Software Engineering.

Prof. Dr. Siti Norul Huda Sheikh Abdullah

Prof. Dr. Siti Norul Huda Sheikh Abdullah is an Professor at the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia

Siti NorulHuda Sheikh Abdullah received her first Degree in Computing at the University of Manchester
Institute of Science and Technology, United Kingdom.

She furthered her master`s study in the area of Artificial Intelligence in Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.
Later, she continued her Ph.D. Study in the area of Computer Vision
at Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. She was the Chairperson of the Center for Cyber Security and
the Deputy Dean (Research and Innovation) Faculty of Information Science and Technology, UKM.

She is also the Chairperson of NGO CSAM Cyber Security Academia Malaysia. Her research focuses are Digital Forensics,
Pattern Recognition, and Computer Vision.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rozilawati Razali

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rozilawati Razali is an Associate Professor at the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia

Dr. Rozilawati Razali is an Associate Professor and a researcher at the Center for Software Technology and Management,
Faculty of Information Science and Technology, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (The National University of Malaysia).

She received her PhD in Computer Science from University of Southampton, United Kingdom.
Her research interests include Requirements Engineering and Empirical Software Engineering.
She is CPRE, CTFL (Agile & Usability) and CTAL (Security & Test Management) certified.

Dr. Umi Asma’ Mokhtar

Dr. Umi Asma’ Mokhtar is an Dr. at the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia

Umi Asma' Mokhtar is a senior lecturer Center of Cyber Security, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.

In 2012, she was awarded the Oliver Wendell Holmes Travel Award by the Society of American Archivists.

Her areas of interest in research include electronic records and information management, information policy, and information security.
She is currently the Malaysian Team's lead researcher for the InterPARES Trust AI project and a Certified Lead Auditor
for ISO 27001:2022.

Dr. Amir Abdul Samad

Dr. Amir Abdul Samad is the Head of Cyber Security PETRONAS

Dr. Amir Abdul Samad is the Head of Cyber Security within the PETRONAS Group of Companies. He has been in the
Information Technology (IT) and Cyber Security space for more than 25 years and considered one of the prominent
IT professionals in Malaysia.He has demonstrated excellent history of working in the oil & energy industry and
his focus is on Enterprise Software, Enterprise Architecture, IT Strategy and Data Center.
He graduated with a BA and MA (Computer Science) back in 1988 from Boston University, USA. Due to his profound passion
in Computer Science, Dr Amir continued his academic journey and obtained his PhD from the same University in the year 1993.
His thesis is on

Before heading the Cyber Security team, he held various key roles within PETRONAS Digital,
namely as Head of Common Support Services in the Operations team, and Application Enterprise Architecture lead.

Early in his career, he spent approximately 10 years with Microsoft as Principal Consultant and Regional Application Architect. Dr Amir is also a Certified TOGAF9 which is a certificate in Enterprise Architecture methodology and framework to improve business efficiency.

In his free time, Dr Amir unleash his passion in IT through home automation using
Raspberry PI and connects himself to nature by growing herbs hydroponically

Muhammad Dawud Fadlullah Wilmot

Muhammad Dawud is currently the Head of Information Systems and Security for Maxis Berhad (CISO).
Dawud has been in the cybersecurity, audit and assurance industry for more than 23 years.
He has served in many different roles such as CISO, CIA (Chief Internal Auditor), IT Infrastructure Manager,
Consultant, Pre-Sales, Systems Engineer and Software Engineer across various different organizations such as Intel,
Pricewaterhouse Coopers Malaysia, Symantec, Celcom Axiata, Robi Axiata and now Maxis Malaysia.

Dawud has a Bachelors of Computer and Information Engineering from IIUM, a Masters of Business Administration from CSU,
a Graduate Diploma in Education from QUT and an Advanced Cybersecurity Certificate of Achievement from Stanford.
He also holds various cybersecurity certifications (CISSP, CBCP, CISM, CISA, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor)
and attended various leadership courses(Data Analytics from University of Chicago Booth School of Business,
Leading Through Personal Excellence from Stanford University Graduate School of Business
and Accelerating Change Readiness and Agility from UC Berkeley Executive Education)

He is a traditional archery enthusiast and an avid reader committed to continuous learning and development.

Mrs Shariffah Rashidah binti Syed Othman

Mrs Shariffah Rashidah is the Director of Policy and International Cooperation
National Cyber Security Agency National Security Council Prime Minister’s Department of Malaysia

Shariffah Rashidah has been serving the Government of Malaysia as an Administrative and Diplomatic Officer since 2004.
For the past 18 years, she has been actively involved in formulating, coordinating, and monitoring the development
and implementation of cybersecurity policies, including the National Cyber Crisis Management Plan, the development of
the National Cyber Coordination and Command Centre (NC4), the Malaysia Cyber Security Strategy, and the recent Cyber Security Bill.

At the regional and international levels, she has contributed to the development of the
ASEAN Regional Forum (ARF) Work Plan on ICT Security, the establishment of the ARF Inter-Sessional Meeting (ISM) on ICT Security,
and the establishment of the ARF Points of Contact. She is currently leading the Malaysian delegation for the First
Committee of the United Nations' Open-Ended Working Group on Security of and in the Use of ICTs (2021-2025).

Shariffah Rashidah holds an MSc in Information Security from Royal Holloway,
University of London, and a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Technology Malaysia
