Welcome to Cyber Resilience Training Workshop 2024

The Center of Cyber Security, Faculty of Information Science & Technology, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) partners with academician from the School of Computing and Information Systems, University of Melbourne, is proud to bring you a Training Workshop on Measuring Cyber Incident Response Capability Based on Best Practices for CNII. The training workshop relates to the “Developing Malaysia’s Cyber Incident Response Capability” research project, led jointly by the University of Melbourne and Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and funded by the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT).


The training is based on the completed field research and constructing and validating an evidence-based maturity model to measure cyber incident response capability. This workshop aims to train 100 nominated industry/government executives from Malaysia’s critical infrastructure on measuring their cyber incident response capability.


The training workshop will last 6 hours and take place on a single day. It will cover case studies of cyber incident response in Malaysia and Australia, followed by an in-depth exposition of the maturity model developed by the team and a guided assessment of maturity facilitated by the team of instructors.


A formal closing ceremony will be conducted towards the end of the day’s proceedings and will feature an Australian and Malaysian government representative.
