Introduction
The JAIST Partner University Master Connection Program (JUMP) is an academic initiative between
the Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (JAIST) and Universiti Kebangsaan
Malaysia (UKM). The official signing ceremony for the JUMP program's Memorandum of Agreement
(MoA) took place on November 4, 2024, at the UKM Chancellery.
JUMP serves as a pathway for UKM students to engage in research internships and pursue a
master’s program at JAIST. UKM undergraduate students are eligible to apply. Selected candidates
will complete an internship lasting a minimum of one week and a maximum of three months, followed
by enrollment in the master's program (October intake) at JAIST, with financial support provided by
JAIST.
